I care about the children and families of Harris County. I have dedicated my legal career to serving the public. I understand the challenges that the modern family face. I will make decisions that fits your situation while following the law.
All children need love. Adoption is a fundamental necessity in our society. According to www.dfps.state.tx.us/PCS/Regional_Statistics, as of December 2021, 1,305 children are in foster care in Harris. I will not automatically disqualify any person from adopting a child based solely on their age, marital status, or sexual orientation.
I believe a 3 prong approach is key when working with our troubled youth: rehabilitation programs + mentorship + education.
I recognize being in a court of law can be very stressful. Knowing this, I will treat each person who comes into the 314th with dignity and respect.
